Permanent makeup is a cosmetic tattooing procedure in which permanent pigments are applied to the skin to enhance features such as eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips.

When performed by a licensed and experienced professional, permanent makeup is generally safe. However, as with any cosmetic procedure, there are risks involved. It is important to carefully research and choose a qualified practitioner.

Permanent makeup typically lasts 1-3 years, depending on factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare.

There are two sessions. At the end of your first session, we will book you in for your second session (touch up) 6 weeks later. The reason for the two sessions is to build up the right amount of colour and saturation over two appointments instead of all at once. This also allows us to be conservative at the first appointment and can perfect or add/ adjust at the second session as necessary. This is especially helpful for clients that are a bit more nervous. 

Your appointment length will depend on the procedure and the artist. Appointments can be anywhere from 2-3 hours. We recommend giving yourself lots of time on the day of your appointment and not have any time sensitive plans afterward. Feel free to ask your artist about timing ahead of time

Of course it’s different for everyone but 98% of clients rate the pain a 3/10. Topical anesthetic is applied during the procedure to make sure you're as comfortable as possible. Any minor discomfort you may feel is within the first 5-10 minutes of the procedure before the anesthetic is applied, then the  rest of the procedure is a walk in the park! All our clients say that tweezing is worse than the actual tattoo itself!
